Katie has a beautiful skill in knowing what I need from exercise - guiding me back, keeping me grounded and pushing me forward as I need it. I also trust her absolutely to hold my baby while I work out and I know she understands what having a beautifully wild toddler is like and how that can change your approach and reason for exercising!

I honestly found the course amazing. I feel much more confident about birth and being a mom! I feel really informed about different options going into my birth and will have the knowledge now to question things and suggest other options. The exercise part was great and every exercise had different options dependant on ability and equipment available. I would recommend this course to anyone who is expecting!

I'd never done gym based exercise before and Katie made me feel so supported and comfortable. Always explaining things and providing all the guidance needed! I'm forever grateful for having pushed myself to try and now I love going to the gym! It's amazing feeling strong for myself and baby!

I attended a Strong Starts pregnancy workshop. I highly recommend if you are expecting as it was very informative around your body when pregnant and also giving birth. I learnt a lot that supported me with my journey.

A life changing postnatal experience with Kate at Strong Starts. I cannot recommend Kate at Strong Starts highly enough! As a new mum navigating the physical and emotional rollercoaster of postpartum recovery, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to safely return to the gym. Kate provided exactly what I needed, personalised support, expert knowledge, and unwavering encouragement. She guided me through postnatal exercises that were not only effective but tailored to my body's recovery needs. Her understanding of postpartum health helped me rebuild strength, restore confidence, and feel genuinely empowered in my body again. Thanks to Kate, I've been able to return to the gym with clarity and confidence, something I didn't think was possible just a few months ago.

I highly recommend Strong Starts for anyone looking to gain strength and confidence during pregnancy/postpartum while learning correct form and prioritising your pelvic floor health!

I have trained in Katies classes both through my pregnancy and early postpartum. She is a wealth of knowledge and always offering helpful adjustments and recommendations. I like that she keeps a close eye on form. Her classes feel non-judgemental and a nice space to connect with other mums whilst moving the body!

Fantastic! Highly recommended! I attended Katie's Strong Starts group class 8 weeks after giving birth. The classes were inviting, supportive, calm and fun. Each Mumma could do weights and ranges of motion that suited their abilities with no pressure. Katie was attentive to each Mum and their needs, limitations and progressions. I loved being able to bring my bub with me, who would either sleep or play on the play mat near by. The classes offered the opportunity to meet new mums, make connections and feel great while exercising.

I have loved the postpartum sessions I have done with Strong Starts. Exercise has never been my thing, but Katie does such a good job of making the classes positive, welcoming, and baby friendly that I look forward to the session each week. I've particularly liked how the exercises are able to be adjusted to meet where I am at and be just the right level of challenging. The strength training I've done with Katie has made such a difference to how I feel in myself postpartum and I'm so grateful to feel strong enough to do all the lifting carrying and pushing prams that is involved with looking after a little one. It's also been a really lovely way to meet other mums in the area. I've loved the classes and I really recommend giving them a go.

Strong Starts is a beautiful community and made such a huge positive difference to my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Katie is knowledgeable, kind, and attentive, and has the perfect balance of supportive and motivational on one hand and sensible and practical on the other. I definitely recommend Strong Starts regardless of where you are in your pregnancy journey.

Katie is so supportive and knowledgeable! Strong Starts helped me to build up my strength safely and grow my confidence in my changing body. Her active birth class gave me the tools I needed to get ready for labour and have a positive and empowering birth. It was also great to connect with other mums and mums-to-be. Highly recommend!
