Dizzy spells when doing too much exercise
Are you working with any health practitioners? If yes, what is their name and do you give permission for me to contact them?
No

Still breastfeeding so no period yet, period is regular (28 days) I do have PMDD

1 child 1 pregnancy, vaginal birth on the 22nd April 2025
For your most recent birth, please provide any relevant information (length of labour, pushing phase, tears/episiotomy, assisted delivery, stitches, scar pain/sensation, etc.)
I was induced, laboured for about 5 hours, 2nd degree tear, yes to stitches, placenta had to be surgically removed as cord was pulled on when I and drs advised that not to happen. Still have pain in my pelvis, abdomen area and hips especially when lifting Zanthe or doing the shopping etc
Are you currently breastfeeding?
Yes
Has your menstrual cycle returned?
No
Have you had your 6 week check and received clearance for exercise?
Yes
What is your exercise history? What were you doing previously and what have you done in the last 6 months?
I’ve very been very good at having an exercise routine. I used to do a lot of walking, hiking, swimming, yoga, paddle boarding but all on and off in my life. Not much in the last 6 months, just regular walks and mums n bubs yoga for 16 weeks
What are your goals / focus returning to exercise?
Strength my core, less pain when holding my Bub and walking with her, stronger arms and shoulders, lose my belly fat, mainly to feel stronger and healthier physically and emotionally
Do you have any concerns about exercising / anything important for me to know? (e.g. previous injuries, pain, fatigue)
I get headaches when I do too much physical exercise or sweat too much ever though I drink litres of water. I have had a spinal fusion on my c5/c6, have almost full movement but have been advised not to lift over 10/15kg ever again and I’m still cautious of straining my neck muscles or slipping another disk. My Bub doesn’t sleep very well so really fatigue a lot of the time
Is there anything particular you wish to learn / work with me on?
Feeling strong again!

Yes, general check up after birth. Cervix is a bit low but control is really good. Have exercises to do to help with pain in my pelvis
If you are currently seeing a Women's Health Physio, what is their name and do you consent to me making contact with them?
Unfortunately I can’t remember her name. It’s with the Tasmanian health service in Glenorchy, part of the royal Hobart hospital services. Yes I do
